Killer Zombie Stamps from Even Outer Space





































I've seen the new Sherlock Holmes movie. I have only one thing to say. Mr. Robert Downey Jr., I have no idea of what prompted you to go to rehab, put yourself back together and start acting in blockbusters, from Iron Man onwards... but whatever it was, I say THANK YOU to it. The man is awesome, the movie is equally awesome, it is weirdily similar to the Holmes idea that I had when I was a kid, it remembers stuff other adaptations forget (the dog!), takes away stuff Doyle never dreamts about, and it is thoroughly entertaining. Yay, Guy Ritchie! In short, it rocks.

Only flaw is how Irene Adler's role shifted during the movie, she started awesome and lost some of her awesomeness in the course of things, but she was satisfying on the whole, and her relationship with Holmes was REALLY well played. Mary was good, too, perfect wife for Watson. Aww, Watson... his "get a life!" approach to Holmes was lovely, and the caring (in a though, bantering way) and friendship between each other was also well portrayed. I'm in love with the notion of bromance, btw.

And, as the best Holmes tales, NOTHING went without a rational explanation. Love that :heart:

I definitely recommend it!



Well, tomorrow I'm leaving for Barcelona, I'll spend New Year's Eve there by a friend of mine *________* YAY SPANISH NIGHTLIFE!!! and huge comic books store!
